Who We Are
HAMV is a planning, advocacy and community building organization dedicated to creating an age friendly Island since 2013. Our mission is to ensure we have the infrastructure and services in place to serve our growing Older Adult population. Today 1 in 3 of our Islanders are 65+.
What We Do
We educate, build awareness and activate in the following ways:
-convene coalitions of island organizations to focuson 5 priority areas
-identify evidence based programs/services
-conduct and share research
-sponsor educational/awareness seminars
-address ad hoc needs of our Older Adults and the agencies that serve them.
